Compendium
Compendium needed a more efficient way to create and manage its proposals. Years of relying on Microsoft Word and email attachments had caught up to them, and it wasn’t a pretty sight.
Max Yoder, Compendium’s Content Manager, had this to say about this issue: “Not only was our sales team using out-of-date collateral, but necessary operational elements—like our situation analysis—were being left out of proposals. As marketers, we needed more control over the sale’s teams proposal creation. At the same time, we didn’t want to be an impediment to such a time-sensitive process. There had to be a balance between control and efficiency.”
The Solution
TinderBox allows Compendium’s marketing department to create templated proposals that organize the proposal process for the sales team. These templates contain up-to-date collateral and all the key elements that the sales team needs.
This streamlining sped up proposal creation, allowing sales reps to create high-quality proposals in record time. Nick Murray, Compendium’s Senior Business Development Manager, sums up the process: “[Our marketing department] gives us the templates for our various packages, we customize them with relevant files and collateral using TinderBox’s content folders, and I save a ton of time. I used to spend thirty minutes hacking together old proposals from old Word documents. Now, my proposals look more professional, I can create them in five minutes, and I can actually track what content is resonating with my prospects and what content isn’t. That’s probably the best part.”
Nick is referring to TinderBox’s text and email notifications, which help Compendium sales reps promptly follow up with prospects after key influencers view their proposals.
